Say I Do under the Redwoods
Tucked beneath the towering canopy of Waterfall Lodge and Retreat, Darcy and Nick hosted an enchanting celebration. The Santa Cruz redwoods inherently provide the most breathtaking natural canvas for a wedding.
Building upon this rustic charm, they introduced rich, moody jewel tones that beautifully contrasted with the lush greenery, and strings of fairy lights added a warm glow over the reception to create an intimately cozy atmosphere.
A Handcrafted Forest Fairytale
Darcy poured her heart into a distinct creative vision for the day. By thrifting and crafting several unique decor pieces, she transformed the venue into a deeply personal space. We watched the environment unfold like a secret garden as guests arrived. Friends and family even wore outfits that perfectly matched the moody aesthetic. Seeing everyone lean into the theme added such a wonderful layer to the day.
